- Creating a custom ME1 save for ME2. Quicksave or Manual Save your game file, and exit the game. Below is for the section of the editor 'PlotMass Effect 1.
- Jul 25, 2018 Open Gibbed Save Editor for Mass Effect 2 application. It doesn’t matter where you unzip the downloaded folder or where you run it. Click the folder icon in it’s menu and navigate to where Mass Effect 2 stores saves: Documents BioWare Mass Effect 2 Save; Select the character file you wish to edit and the most recent save.
Okogawa has written a guide to using the editor here! Everyone using Gibbed's should read this to help mod their game, including how to mod female Shepard's hair, hair colors, change classes, add skillpoints, etc.-Gibbed's Audio Extractor. Largely untested, but it won't destroy your Mass Effect 2 install.

Anyone have any experience using the mass effect save game editor? I haven't played the first, but i have completed the second. There are some options from the ME1 i would like carried over to ME2, but every time i have tried editing the save, the options stick, but aren't carried over into ME3.
I wish i had found this before starting ME2, would probably have been easier to edit.
Hello all, I'm looking for a ME1 savegame editor. I did google and subreddit search but to no avail, so I turn to you good people.
It's not for the purposes of getting a ready made save for ME2, but to alter the personality/background for my Shepard that's already a bit deep into a playthrough that I would prefer not to go back through with a new profile.
I saw Gibby's savegame editor but that's really only for ME2. Haven't found any options for just an ME1 editor that I can edit the save and continue playing ME1.

I'm pretty okay with notepad++ so if there's a way to hex edit this without frying the save, that'd work too. Ni komplete audio 6 driver.
