Overall Review: Perhaps a mounting bracket would be a nice touch or some included velcro strips for cable management.
I highly recommend this product for any type of setup. I have used these between two servers, along with on my home work bench.

-But it would be better if the color is black, because I would put that somewhere between my Mac and PC, then forget about it. Then dust will stain them over time.

This is a starter level emulated KVM that is only hot key controlled. The response time is not slow unless you are using a non standard keyboard (104 key wired keyboard). This is because of the built in emulation. All IOGEAR keyboards including wireless will work with IOGEAR KVM's. IOGEAR makes a variety of KVM to suite almost all needs. strangest KVM I have ever had

Overall Review: Checked online for this issue, and I didn't see it listed anywhere so I am assuming it is just a faulty KVM. I like IoGear but do not like this model. Give me separate plugs for the mouse and keyboard.

The reason for this emulation is to allow the hot key functions to operate. A side effect of the emulation is that in most cases the special key sequences required for gamming, and key programming will not translate correctly through the KVM, for gamming we recommend connecting directly to the computer. Our KVM’s emulate a standard 102 key, keyboard and generic 2-button scroll wheel mouse. The reason for this emulation is to allow the hot key functions to operate. A side effect of the emulation is that in most cases the special key sequences required for gamming, and key programming will not translate correctly through the KVM, for gamming we recommend connecting directly to the computer.
Although our KVMs will work with most wireless keyboard mouse sets, we cannot promise an individual multimedia / programmable keyboard and mouse set will work through the KVM.
Due to the large number of manufacturer's and each manufacturer's wide range of models it is impossible to maintain any meaningful compatibility list. Once again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.

Overall Review: I use these exclusively because they're very high quality and cost effective. I repair computers and do graphics design with workstations. These KVM switches are more than adequate for my needs and highly recommend them.

Thank you for choosing IOGEAR and we apologize for your experience. IOGEAR will not say it will not work however there is no guarantee the GCS632U will work with video adapters. Not all adapters work the same. We have had the best results testing apple adapters with this KVM. The GCS632U is a VGA analog KVM. Thunderbolt is digital so there is no guarantee the GCS632U will work correctly with thsi type of adapter. This has been forwarded to the product management team. Iogear Kvm Switch User Manual

Pros: This is a great KVM switch. The construction is really solid, the built-in cables are an excellent 6' long. The flexibility it allows is surprising: you can redefine the 'swap key' to be anything you want (not that I needed to -- I'm perfectly happy with <Scr Lk> <Scr Lk>. I'd buy another one of these in a heartbeat.
